Revised Trim Spectrum

In the 2017 model year, the Mazda CX-5 offered a total of four trim levels. For the new model year, this trim spectrum has been refined and now includes just three trim levels. These include the Sport, the Touring, and the Grand Touring.

Sport

The beginning trim level in the CX-5 lineup is the Sport trim. This model will give drivers access to a 187-hp, SKYACTIV®-G 2.5L DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with Cylinder Deactivation. Alongside this engine and the new addition of the cylinder-deactivation technology, the Sport trim will give drivers cloth-trimmed seating surfaces, a rearview camera, Push Button Start, and the MAZDA CONNECT Infotainment system as standard amenities.

Touring

Moving on to the second trim level, the Touring, drivers will find increased luxuries with leatherette seating and Lux Suede® inserts, as well as heated seats. This trim builds upon the foundation of the Sport trim and offers the same engine specs. Drivers of this trim will have access to standard LED headlights with auto-leveling. For safety equipment, this model grade gives drivers Lane Departure Warning with Lane-keep Assist, Smart Brake Support, and High Beam Control.

Grand Touring

In the top trim, the Grand Touring, drivers will find the full range of Mazda CX-5 features and technologies. It still comes equipped with the same engine and includes cylinder-deactivation technology, but it adds features like a power sliding glass moonroof with one-touch-open feature and interior sunshade and heated side mirrors. Drivers of this grade enjoy leather-trimmed seats and a Bose® 10-speaker audio sound system with Centerpoint® and AudioPilot®. This model grade also offers the full range of Mazda i-ACTIVSENSE safety features, brining great value to drivers who choose this model.
