A new era is dawning in the Mazda lineup that is coming to the Gorman McCracken Mazda showroom. One of the most exciting vehicles that our customers will be able to see is the Mazda3, both the sedan and hatchback versions. The automaker has made several radical changes that will make the Mazda3 more fun to drive and own. There are still several details that have yet to be released. Can I add smartphone apps to any Mazda vehicle?

A few months ago, Mazda announced that it would be providing owners of certain trims of the 2018 Mazda6, the chance to have Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ capability retrofitted in their vehicles. Naturally, we and many of our customers were very excited to hear this news. However, the team of product experts working in the Gorman McCracken Mazda showroom started to receive a lot of calls, text messages and emails from other customers wondering, ‘Can I add smartphone apps to any Mazda vehicle?’ As of a few days ago, we can start calling them back with good news. Not only has the automaker confirmed that its middle crossover SUV will be getting a turbocharged engine, but the Gorman McCracken Mazda Blog has also learned a few more interesting bits of news prior to the release date for the 2019 Mazda CX-5. The headline for the new model year is that Mazda’s 2019 lineup is going to easily rank among the most technologically-advanced vehicles in each class they occupy. Is Mazda making a diesel engine?

When most people think of diesel engines, they see mental images of big rigs lumbering down the road with black smoke billowing out of the stacks.
