How good are the safety scores for the 2019 Mazda CX-5?

The 2019 model year has been incredible for Mazda and its lineup of new crossover SUVs available at the Gorman McCracken Mazda showroom. This is especially true of the two-row Mazda CX-5 and three-row Mazda CX-5. For the current model year, the automaker has introduced new connectivity technology to its larger crossover SUVs, but today, we’re focusing on systems we hope owners and drivers will never have to use. So, how good are the safety scores for the 2019 Mazda CX-5? Well, according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the midsize Mazda platform is one of the safest in its class as was worthy of its Top Safety Pick Plus designation – especially when its equipped with the latest safety technology. The 2019 Mazda3 has captured the imagination of everyone working at the Gorman McCracken Mazda showroom. Since the new Mazda sedan and hatchback was unveiled at 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, our team has been dying to see it up close and learn more about it. We were lucky enough to have a Gorman McCracken Mazda Blog correspondent film a pair of new 2019 Mazda3 walk around videos from the Chicago Auto Show. Can I order the Mazda MX-5 Miata 30th Anniversary Edition?

To say the automotive industry has had a positive reaction to the 30th Anniversary Edition of the Mazda MX-5 Miata would be an understatement. Since the limited-run version of the Mazda convertible was officially unveiled at the media-only portion of the 2019 Chicago Auto Show, we’ve been getting a lot of calls from people wondering, ‘Can I order the Mazda MX-5 30th Anniversary Edition?’ Unfortunately, as quickly as those calls came into the Gorman McCracken Mazda showroom, even more calls flooded the North American headquarters of Mazda. In a matter of hours, all 500 special-edition Mazda MX-5 Miata vehicles available for pre-order had been reserved. However, more will be available eventually. Is Mazda going to redesign the Mazda CX-3?

The next four to six weeks could be among the most interesting time periods in the automaker’s recent history. When the Chicago Auto Show opens later this week, Mazda will be showing off the 30th Anniversary Edition of one of its most popular models, the Mazda MX-5 Miata. However, in March, the big time European motor shows begin and there are signs the manufacturer is poised to make another splash with one of its crossover SUVs.
